Rules & Regulations
CHECK-IN
2:00 p.m. Where possible we will accommodate early check-in. Full payment for rent and security deposit, guaranteed by $200 or credit card, is required at check-in.
CHECK–OUT
10:00 a.m. Please come by the office at the departure time. A late checkout fee of 25% of daily rate will be assessed after 11:00 a.m.
RESERVATION
An advance payment of $250 is required on booking 4 months or more prior to your arrival date, 50% - 2 months or more, 100% - less then 2 months. Minimum 7 nights booking is required during high season, 3 nights for long weekends and 2 nights during off-season.
CANCELLATION
Confirmed reservation is guaranteed and our guests are responsible for the full cost of the reservation unless cancellation is received at least two months prior your arrival date. If your cottage is re-booked, your payment will be refunded. Refunds of your payment are subject to $50 cancellation fee.
PAYMENTS
All payments may be made by cash, cheque, VISA
PARKING
Only in designated areas.
DOCKING
Docking is limited. Please inquire if you intend to use your own boat.
VISITORS
Your day time visitors are welcomed. Please report to the office upon arrival. We reserve the right to limit the number of guests. No camping or travel trailer is permitted in the resort. Day visitors must depart by 8:00 p.m. Overnight visitors must register with the office. If the total number of people exceeds the cottage allowable maximum, $20.00 per guest per night will be charged.
PETS
No animals are permitted in the cottages or on the grounds. However, the management reserves the right to make exceptions from this rule.
SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted inside cottages at any time.
FIRE SAFETY
Careful fire precaution is expected. Clothing, bedding and other combustible materials must not be placed near sources of fire. Please do not leave unattended fires in the fire pit near your cottage and extinguish fires before your departure. Also, it is a town ordinance that no fireworks are permitted on the property.
COTTAGE CARE
Cottage occupants are expected to keep their cottages clean and to leave them in good order. Dishes, pots and pans are to be washed and returned to their cupboards. Please do not move any of the furniture. Trash is to be locked in large trash containers.
ENVIRONMENT
We are located on beautiful land. Please help us protect it and keep it clean. As much as possible, limit your impact on the environment: don’t use soap or detergent in the lake, don’t waste water in the shower or at the kitchen sink, don’t overload the septic system (no napkins, extra paper or garbage in the toilet), use blue and green boxes and no loud music or excessive noise; quiet is expected from all visitors after midnight.
BARBEQUE
Barbeques available on site. Propane tanks at $20 per week or weekend.
PROPERTY LOSS
Cedar Nook Management is not responsible for damages or loss of property.
DEPOSIT
Your security deposit may not be refunded if there is damage done to the cottage, its contents, or other resort property or, at management discretion, if the rules listed above are not adhered to.
